Another Evening Another Wine Experience
Even though Moni is busy with work for her clients and creating products she always has time to enjoy a top grade Matcha Tea.
This tea is very expensive… €46 for 30 grams. You only need a small amount thank goodness.
Day 1241 – July 25th, 2017
After a busy day for both Stefano & Moni we make sure to enjoy the evening again.
An aperitif of Amaro Nonino Quintessentia on ice sets the mood and activates those taste buds.
Tonight we have a selection of cold meats & cheeses.
To accompany this we have a Primitivo di Manduria “Centurio”, a superb wine from Puglia Italy. The bottle alone is heavier than most full wine bottles, it is very thick glass.
The wine is deep in colour and dry with spicy flavours, just how I like it, oh and high alcohol volume 15% made from the primitivo grape. A good wine for the cellar.
Another wine from this evening was Monferrato Rosso from the Piedmont in northern Italy, made with Nebbiolo grape which is famous for its Barolo & Barbaresco wines. This wine comes from the Cascina Roera vinyard.
