Carnival Legend South Pacific Cruise – Day 3 at Sea
Today, we are on the Carnival Legend – South Pacific Cruise – Day 3 at Sea, and today was a relaxing one with nearly 11 hours spent on the Serenity adult only deck area in the pods at the very back.
Day 1731 – 2nd December 2018
As we continue along with this review of our Carnival cruise to the South Pacific islands I’ll begin to take a closer look at the ship, but first a bit about what little we got up to.
Moni & I love sea days and just relaxing in the adult only area is bliss especially when you can get a pod. Between the four of us, we could come and go without fear of losing our precious spots.
Carnival, like most cruise lines, has a loyalty program. Carnivals’ VIFP has various levels and today we rose from Red to Gold, I know, amazing, super bla bla… I’m not going to bore you with details, but you can check out all about Carnivals’ loyalty program with this link.
These pods are very popular and if you’re not early you’ll most likely have to wait and be ready as soon as one comes free… Along with plenty of others waiting in the distance ready to pounce!
Moni & I were up early and choose two pods next to each other and we sat in one each until Mr B & Sue-Ellen arrived. Technically you’re not allowed to save a pod or sun lounger but as we were nice and early there were still others available.
With not much to report on with regards to our activities, let’s take a closer look at the Carnival Legend starting at the top on deck 12. But before you go, tonight was the first formal evening where surprisingly a good amount of passengers made an effort to dress up smart.
