The drive from Dublin to Kilkenny was great, the weather was average and the photos did no justice.

On arriving in Kilkenny we found our hotel for the night, Langton’s.

Our room was very comfortable in this old-fashioned hotel.

We had some time to relax before dinner and took a long bath to warm up and relax the muscles from sitting in the car. The hire car was rather small for the four of us, plus luggage which some of we squashed on the back seat with Moni & I.

Downstairs was the pub come restaurant with one side quieter than the other. It was packed and lucky we had a table booked. Dinner was fine, nothing over the top and with dinner we enjoyed a few pints of Kilkenny, delicious.

After dinner, we explored the town for a while before finding another pub with live dancing so we had another drink and absorbed the atmosphere.

The next morning we had breakfast and then explored the town before starting our journey to Kinsale.

After viewing all those wonderful sights we left Kilkenny and drove to Kinsale.
