Waterford Ireland
A stop-off in Waterford on the drive to Kinsale. Here we spent some time in the famous Waterford Glass showroom.
Day 1192 – June 6th 2017
Unfortunately, much of the cut crystal glass is not produced here anymore. Pieces are made overseas these days and sold here. So, check before you buy so your not disappointed when it reads underneath made in…
After that time in the crystal display area, we were hanging out for a coffee. We found an Illy cafe and enjoyed a fine cup. A delicious smooth chocolate truffle was served with it. When Moni was eating hers she said oh, mine has a nut in.
Little did she know that it wasn’t a nut but rather her tooth that had cracked.
Waterford is a very clean and pretty town with plenty to see with a little more time than we had. Another time we can enjoy it more.
