O’Sheehan’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill Review on Norwegian Escape

DINING REVIEW OF O'SHEEHAN'S BAR & GRILL ON NORWEGIAN ESCAPE

O’Sheehan’s Neighbourhood Bar & Grill on Norwegian Escape was very popular and it’s no wonder why. Take a look at this dining venue that is included in your cruise fare on the Escape. Not all of the 28 food outlets are included in the cruise fare, the majority of speciality venues have an extra charge, be it a fixed price or an a la carte price per item.

How much does it cost at O’Sheehans?

It’s FREE baby… Well nothing is free, what I mean is that this dining experience is included within your cruise fare that you have already paid.

This venue is above the Atrium and open 24 hours. We had lunch here on a few occasions at different times during the cruise, the menu stayed the same all day with some specials on certain days.

Our dining experience

With over 4000 passengers onboard the Escape, you could bet your bottom dollar that the places open for lunch would be very popular. Sure enough they were, the Margaritaville was so busy once the sun came out, that waiting times for a table were over 40 minutes.

O’Sheehan’s is ideally located above the atrium and a very popular spot. You can sit here for a drink or enjoy a meal while still being able to enjoy the entertainment that is going on below.

You can sit and eat basically anywhere around the bar, along the edge overlooking the atrium and of course inside the dining area. This makes up the ‘Neighborhood’ part.

The place is like a pub venue and so is the menu, rather lacking in choice though.

Service was good here considering they were always busy. You never waited very long for food or service.

The food was fine, nothing amazing but tasty and we enjoyed our lunches each visit. My favourite was the Cottage Pie, with the Fish n Chips a close second.

O’Sheehan’s Bar & Grill review

O’Sheehan’s is a great option for lunch or late lunch considering that both Savor & Taste close rather early at 1.30pm. Another complimentary option would be the Garden Cafe which is the buffet style venue on the Escape.

Even though the menu is rather limited what they serve is hot and tasty. The service was always quick and the staff were very organised, they even topped up iced water and drinks.

Our score for O’Sheehan’s was 7/10

T.V screens hang on the walls and constantly show sports which is kind of good if your game is on while it’s lunch time (no sound though, a good thing). The main dining area has booths as well as normal chairs and tables whilst around the bar area it is high top tables and stools.

We never had breakfast or dinner here and cannot comment, except that the menu doesn’t change.

Comment below, don’t be shy
