Our Camino – Day 4 Zubiri to Pamplona
Our Camino – Day 4, Zubiri to Pamplona – 22.8 Kms
Day 4 of Our Camino
Day 529 – August 12th, 2015.
After a filling breakfast of cereal and some fruit, we began our walk. With our bodies hurting from yesterday we knew it would be a tough hike for many hours.
However, we were in no race and with a Auberge in sight we took time out for a coffee.
Todays walk took us over some roads and paths through fields with beautiful scenery.
In El Horno is a good-looking bar and pizza restaurant. If we hadn’t just had a snack we’d be sure to try a pizza here for lunch. A soft drink ‘Aquarius’ was our reward.
Continuing along the way we are passed by two Dutch couples that have walked for over a month already. They set out from their home in Holland and will walk all the way to Santiago. That’s a LONG way.
Signs that we are nearing the outskirts of Pamplona are clear with smaller villages popping up.
The actual walk into the city of Pamplona drags on, in a nice way, but by the time we get to our place we are whacked.
