Rooftop Bar Casablanca O’sole Mío La Casa Roja in Las Palmas
All along the Playa de las Canteras in Las Palmas are plenty of restaurants and cafes. One that we tried just the other evening was O’sole Mío La Casa Roja Casablanca.
Day 1155 – April 30th, 2017
This place appealed to us because of the rooftop bar. We had spotted it whilst walking along the promenade a few days before and decided to check it out.
The place was quiet on the entrance level, yet upstairs was a different matter. There are plenty of tables and bar stools and even a bunch of soft bean bags scattered in the corners.
It’s a great spot to take in the view of part of the beachfront of las Canteras beach.
Service was good and our pizza with salad was decent. It’s not cheap but also not a ripoff either. A pizza, salad and four beers was €37.
The only thing that might annoy some people would be that smoking is allowed all around, no matter if eating or not. The sweet scent from the clouds of smoke of the smokers radiates around.
The bar is popular for those that enjoy the not as healthy as you think ‘hubble-bubble’ Shisha pipe, call it what you want and this crazy habit is on nearly every corner here in Las Palmas. If you can hack the smokers, shisha lovers and e-cig crazies then you’ll have a great time up at the O’sole Mío La Casa Roja.
If you only want to eat, then probably the main restaurant below would suit you better. There is also a terrace here as well.
