Our last day in Medellin was not going to be one we to look forward to for many reasons, and saying goodbye to new great friends is never easy.

Day 256 – November 13th, 2014.

After packing most of our gear we had our last menu del dia at Restaurante El Supremo which was delicious as always, and mentioned we’d be back later for a coffee and to say adios… Esperance had a few tears as we paid for lunch just as Enrique had predicted.

Back home I finished to pack the last washed items and Moni continued with some work.

At 5pm we bought a bunch of flowers and printed out a group photo of us all together and gifted it to the guys. We enjoyed a final coffee and a costenita beer before saying goodbye. More tears and hugs and then we waved adios…

Great times with Enrique & Esperance

We had a live Skype ‘call-in’ to Daryl & Andrews “Make a Change” event on the Gold Coast to be ready for that evening which kept us focused and not allow us to dwell on the sad day.

The whole time in Medellin and the various places we have visited has amazed us, we have been truly blessed in being able to visit such a wonderful land and its people. If anyone reading the Entrepreneurs Odyssey blog is wondering if they should visit Colombia, don’t wait a minute longer, book and go, if you have the experiences like we have had you’ll never want to leave.

We will be back.
