Crossing The International Date Line
After a light breakfast we caught up on some work before heading out for lunch in the main dining room.
Day 75 – May 17th.
It is our first time in there for lunch and really it was nothing to shout about. The flavours were fine but the presentation needs some help.
Lunch in the Metropolitan
And a few days later I went for a look at the menu and it was the same. Not sure how often that changes but we chose the buffet again for lunch.
Bingo in the Cosmos Lounge
Bingo was on today for the second time and we just happened to be around, so we purchased our three cards for $39 which is expensive compared to other ships.
The actual bingo game is supposed to be fun… This was just number calling and not much fun or interaction, very dismal indeed. FYI the three game winners received between $130 & $170 respectively.
Dinner tonight was extra special and for that reason I have dedicated a separate entry for it. Click the bold link below to read.
After our very special dinner at the Captain’s table
Crossing the International date line
We bid our fellow guests goodnight and headed to the Atrium to celebrate the crossing of the international date line… It is a party atmosphere with people dancing and live music, balloons everywhere. The Captain had already cut the tape by the time we arrived, but no dramas.
We savour some cocktails and enjoy the night’s entertainment while chatting about our special dinner that we had just enjoyed. What a great day on board the Millennium.
