After a relaxing extra day in Moree today, we completed the drive from Strathalbyn SA to Aspley QLD.

We decided to stay an extra night here for a couple of reasons; first of all the room was decent at a decent price, second, I was planning on going to the famous Moree baths, and third, we were a day ahead of our predicted schedule!

Yesterday mornings late breakfast and coffee from Brooker Trading Co was really very good. Don’t go anywhere else!

We stayed at Baths Motel on Warialda Street for $70 a night the cheapest of the three motels on this trip. It was also the best and most comfortable accommodation, so much for the saying “you get what you pay for”

Even though I didn’t get to the baths we had a relaxing day here. A dust storm blew for a few hours and the streets were pretty empty. The baths at the Artesian Aquatic Centre are only a few hundred meters along this road were staying on. A group of ladies from all over meet up here each year and enjoy multiple visits per day to the baths, as they explained to us in conversations.

Another 5hrs 22min 491 km drive according to google (took a little longer as per usual) we arrived in Aspley QLD to our friends. We drove via Goondiwindi to Toowoomba onto Aspley. That now completes our road trip from Strathalbyn to Aspley.
