Carnival Legend 9 Night Cruise to the South Pacific Day 2 at Sea
Continuing on from yesterdays embarkation on the Carnival Legend 9 Night Cruise to the South Pacific we woke to glorious sunshine.
Day 1730 – 1st December 2018
By the way folks, for those that don’t know what the day count above is. This is the number of days that Moni & I (EntrepreneursOdyssey) have been travelling.
I did go back to sleep again for a while and checked out the program.
You can always follow the ship’s progress and check the weather conditions on the TV in the cabins or on the one in the lobby.
After enjoying a swift service for breakfast in the main dining room Truffles we had a fun day at sea. A mini golf challenge was had between the four of us with Mr B winning in a playoff hole from Moni.
A good view from deck 10 where you can walk all around the front and out over the bridge which allows for great views along the side of the ship.
The condition of the course was decent, just the balls very lightweight and with gentle breezes and motion of the ocean, it was hilarious.
Lunch from the Lido buffet at the Unicorn Cafe.
Next up it was time for the Cluedo murder mystery game. Just like the board game only with live characters on stage. Over the next sea days, you could decipher the clues and a winner was picked from the hat on the final sea day.
Bingo followed this which we sat a watched. Interestingly the prize money for each bingo game stayed the same until the final day when the $5000 full house in less than 48 balls is called.
Card sales are not too expensive with a full card (6 games) being sold for $30.
Time to enjoy the sunset before dinner.
Dinner at our table 173 was ok, tonight being island night menu which was not overly exciting.
It’s Showtime
Tonight’s performance by Thomas Crane who was a finalist in Australia’s got tallent show. Thomas Crane impersonates the legendary Freddie Mercury from Queen.
This show was AMAZING, he sang lots of hits and could have sung many more but what he covered were fantastic. He looks and acts just like Freddie and really got the crowd excited, don’t miss this show.
