After a busy day yesterday we are both tired. Moni is not getting much better and needs to rest so we stay home again today. I venture out but only for some food and to do the washing at our local launderette. Another great thing about this AirBnB apartment is that it’s very close to the launderette.

Day 21 – March 24th, 2014.

Washing at a Launderette in Japan

Actually, there are a few in this area but this is by far the closest. It is exactly 20 seconds from our main entrance, I don’t think you could get one any closer. It is clean and has plenty of washer’s and dryers.

I manage to wash and dry in less than one hour which is pretty good. The only thing is I have to be careful with the dryer that I don’t shrink any (more) clothes.

Next, I pop into town to get something for us to eat. There are many choices, but I want to have it take away and I find a place that has ready made packs of mixed things, like rice, sushi, chicken, pasta etc I take two of them back home.

Back home I feed us up with food and hot toddy tea with honey, lemon & whisky.
