Colombian Fruits and Vegetables From The Local Markets in Medellin

A visit to the local market in Envigado today was well worth it, check out what we bought for less than $24 AUD here in Medellin, Colombia.

Day 184 – September 2nd, 2014.

After a couple of times shopping at the local supermarkets ‘La Vaquita’ and ‘Exito’ we explored a bit further and found the local market. This place is three blocks back behind the church in the Parque Envigado on the otherside of the road to the supermarket.

You have to go up a few stairs and at the top you can see some Budgies and Cockatiels in small cages just to the right of them is the entrance to the market.

They have meat, fish and fruit and vegetables that we saw, there might be more stuff, but with our hands full of heavy bags we made our way back home.

“Check out what we got for $23.38”
