The smell of bacon wakes us and breakfast is thoroughly enjoyed. We are being treated very well and to think we only met Brian & Shasta yesterday.

Day  99 – June 9th.

After breakfast Moni gets down to business with so much to complete over the next few weeks. Brian returns home after popping out to town with some take away coffee’s that puts a big smile on our faces.

Shasta is out for the day but in the evening we get to discuss some of the finer details regarding our house sit and are invited over to their neighbours who happens to be Brian’s brother John and wife Carol.

John & Carols place with the many ponds that have Trout in, and water features

We are treated to John’s own smoked trout from his rather large ponds, followed by a delicious home cooked roast, then strawberries for dessert. They have a big place which is well manicured and requires lots of upkeep. Then evening is spent enjoying the company and chatting, before saying goodnight and walking home just up the road, through the garden which has deer roaming wild as it is still quite light late into the day.
